What is Central Iowa Mensa? We are a local group of Mensans serving much of Iowa. A few CIM facts:
What is Mensa? American Mensa has approximately 50,000 members. Five million Americans are eligible for Mensa membership. Mensans come from all walks of life and all levels of society. However, they share one trait - high intelligence. To qualify for Mensa, one must score in the top 2% of the general population on a standardized intelligence test. As an organization, American Mensa provides intelligent individuals an opportunity to meet other smart people at the local, regional, and national levels. Mensans interact at entertaining events and exchange ideas through a variety of publications.
